Our commitment
Cybecs wants cybecs.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology such as screen readers or keyboard-only navigation. Cybecs works to make its website accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 (the Israeli accessibility standard, based on WCAG) and targets the relevant WCAG Level AA success criteria as our technical benchmark.
What we've implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with a single primary heading per page.
- A skip-to-content link and a
<main>landmark on every page. - Visible keyboard-focus states on interactive elements, verified by walking the actual tab order on representative pages.
- ARIA labels and expanded/collapsed state on the mobile navigation menu.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences.
- Text and background colors checked against WCAG AA contrast thresholds; one sitewide gap found in muted/caption text was fixed as part of this review.
- The cookie-consent panel moves focus to itself when it appears and returns focus to the reopening control when closed.
- Required form fields carry a visible marker in addition to native browser validation, and form submission results are announced to assistive technology via a live status region.
- Reflow checked at a 200%-zoom-equivalent viewport width on representative pages with no horizontal scrolling or cut-off content.
Where we're not there yet
This Site has not undergone a formal, independent accessibility audit against a specific WCAG conformance level — the review described above was performed internally, not by an independent third-party auditor, and does not by itself constitute a compliance certification. It covered semantics, keyboard navigation and focus management, forms, images, ARIA usage, rendered color contrast, and 200%-zoom reflow on representative pages (homepage, Contact, Careers, one service page), verified using the same accessibility-tree data assistive technology relies on rather than a live screen-reader session. It did not include testing across multiple real screen-reader and browser combinations. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a completed checklist, and we welcome reports of specific issues.
