The Citrix company fixes high-level hardware vulnerabilities in Windows and Linux applications
Citrix this week announced fixes for critical vulnerabilities in virtual applications and desktops, as well as Workspace applications for Windows and Linux.
The Virtual Desktop and Applications vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2023-24483, is described as a privilege escalation issue that allows an attacker with access to a Windows VDA as a normal Windows user to elevate system privileges.
The security flaw affects all versions of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops before 2212, as well as versions 2203 of 2203 before CU2 and 1912 before CU6.
