Burton Snowboards Cancels Online Orders After ‘Cyber Incident’
Burton Snowboards, a leading snowboard manufacturer, has canceled all online orders today following what it describes as a “cyber incident”.
“We are currently experiencing a system outage due to a recent cyber incident and are unable to process online orders at this time,” the snowboard brand says in a prominent notice on its website.
In a separate statement, Burton Snowboards said it is currently investigating the incident with the help of outside experts to determine its impact.
The company did not provide details on the nature of this “cyber incident,” but will likely update its statement after the ongoing investigation is complete.
